Concealed Hinge

Concealed hinges are an affordable way to revive your existing cabinets and bring in a contemporary style. These hinges are completely hidden from view when the cabinet door is closed. Concealed or European hinges can be installed by using a concealed hinge jig and a router to cut the mounting hole on the door panel. The cabinet-side of the hinge screws onto the side wall or edge of the face board. Once the hinges are installed, they can be adjusted by loosening three screws so the door panel can be properly aligned with the cabinet.

A hinge is a type of bearing that connects two solid objects, typically allowing only a limited angle of rotation between them. Two objects connected by an ideal hinge rotate relative to each other about a fixed axis of rotation. Hinges may be made of flexible material or of moving components. In biology, many joints function as hinges.
