Door Closer

Door closer is a kind of door hardware fittings and it is the hydraulic device equipped on the door, which is similar with spring. After the door is opened, door closer can close it through releasing the compression, achieving the door’s automatic close like a spring door. And this can ensure that after the door is opened, it can accurately, timely and automatically close to the initial position. The basic components of hydraulic door closer are a supporting guide, a transmission gear, a reset spring, a one-way valve, a rack piston, the throttle valve core and shell, end cover, a sealing ring and a connecting rod. The casing and the connecting rod play a role of fixing door closers and connecting doors and frames.

The species of door closers can be divided into external mounted door closers, embedded door closers and other types of door closers. Door closers are mainly used in commercial and public buildings, and sometimes also used in the home situation. The significance of door closer is not only to achieve the door’s automatic close, but also to protect the door frame and door body. And what is more important is that the door closer has become a section which can not be ignored in the execution of modern intelligent building management.
